Donation and Sponsorship

Why Donate or Sponsor

Project Africa Vision is a charity and not for profit organization, we are funded mainly by your donations and sponsorships, without them we would not be able to carry out our charity projects within deprived communities in Ghana. About 95% of donations and sponsorships go into charity projects while the remaining is for administrative cost.

It is the financial independence that will give us the freedom to set up projects wherever we consider will have the most impact. Therefore, Project Africa Vision needs help financially and materially to carry out its mission to fulfill its vision.

Fund raising, donations and sponsorships builds up a reserve of funds which will help the organization to keep operating and supporting projects during times when there are low numbers of volunteers.

Your donations and sponsorships make a positive difference to the lives of the people in the less endowed rural communities in both Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions of Ghana.  Many people in the Ghana benefit from your contribution. Without you, none of this would be possible.

By contributing to Project Africa`s charity project, you invest in the entire community`s success.

Your donation is an additive process that yields results over time.

Physically Challenge Initiative and Orphanage

Volunteers and interns under this project works in some selected physically challenge and orphanage homes in the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions of Ghana. This project aims to inspire hope and motivation to the physically challenge and orphans to take up responsible roles.

In this our part of the world, most handicapped and orphans have a mentality that there is no hope for them in life, they mostly take to the street begging for alms to make a living, without considering their God given potentials and what they can learn to do or improve their lives to become self-reliant without being a burden to their families and society.

The government alone cannot handle this situation unless individuals, organizations, NGOs intervene. Some individuals and organizations both local and foreign have taken some of this responsibilities upon themselves to help and support these physically challenged and orphans by providing homes, security, training and apprenticeship, education to better their lives to make them very responsible for their families and the society in general.

Project Africa share this great passion by creating a platform for interns, volunteers, young professional and donor agencies and NGOs interested in this project to go to these homes to assist, inspire, motivate, train and nurture their God given potentials, talents and interests of these people. Intern and interested volunteers are assign to one of the physically challenge and orphanage homes located in the Ashanti or Brong Ahafo regions of Ghana to spend some time there with the people. Volunteers are involved in activities such as teaching, giving motivational talks, organizing games, sharing life stories, supporting studies etc. This project also focuses on the financial sustainability of the selected physically challenged and orphanage homes. Therefore, there are series of initiatives such as animal farms, crop production, on large scale, libraries and ICT centers for the homes are underway.

we welcome donations (either monetary or in kind) and sponsorships of any kind from any interested volunteer, intern, organizations, NGOs, etc. to help support these projects and various initiatives.

You do not need to have previous experience, just energy, enthusiasm and Patience. Volunteers can teach English, French or any subject of interest provided it’s very necessary for the school and students. Volunteers with the necessary skills can also teach French, ICT, music, physical education or sports.

This project has a desire to help and support less endowed rural schools with teaching and learning facilities such as Libraries, ICT centers, teaching and learning materials. This platform is used to seek for support for schools in these deprived communities in order to encourage children, teachers and parents in the education process. Religious Missions

When we say making a difference in a big world what we mean is making a real difference in all areas where possible. One typical problem facing this whole wide world is the issue of religious differences which is causing severe conflicts and instabilities in certain parts of the world. As our mission suggests, Project Africa Vision serves as an assembly point for diverse culture, therefore different people from different religious backgrounds come together for a common goal. To achieve our vision of building sustainable future and international unity, then there is the need to understand and accept other people` s           religions and cultural background. Everyone holds different views and theology: some people have a very strong, personal faith, others have not yet made any commitment at all; some are firmly committed to one denomination or tradition, others are open to several. What all volunteers share is the desire to move forward in their Christian faith: to be honest about what’s good or bad, easy or difficult, helpful or painful and thus to find out more about the reality of God. Take an active part in conferences and other activities, including the worship, discussions and studies. On most religious volunteer programs you will be expected to take seriously the commitments of exploring faith.

These are some of the reasons why it is very necessary to Participate in Religious mission in Ghana

  • Commit to and invest in a particular community
  • Understand and serve its needs
  • Learn to let God to move in and through you
  • Take risks and step outside of your comfort zone
  • Brow and develop new skills
  • Gain work, leadership, and ministry experience
