Depending on the area of interest, interns and volunteers are able to shadow and observe qualified and experienced medical and health professional. Project Africa has an agreement with hospitals and clinics in the ashanti and brong Ahafo regions of Ghana which permit interns and volunteers to assigned to a particular hospital or clinic under the supervisions of qualified doctors, nurses, midwives, pharmacists and other health professional who guide and assist them in operations. Interns and volunteers are at liberty to rotate from one department to another depending on their preference and interest. While at the hospitals or clinics, interns and volunteers are able to carry out their social and humanitarian services by embarking on outreach programmes organized by project Africa in some selected communities and orphanage homes in the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions of Ghana.
Project Africa also donates medical and first aid equipment, mosquito nets and repellants to community health facilities, aged, children and deprived communities.
